Revolution Rock Music School Lesson Agreement

Nick Weber Music, LLC

(757) 876-3260

This contract explains our policies and the responsibilities of Revolution Rock Music School (operated by Nick Weber Music, LLC), the students, and their parent/guardian.

The Revolution Rock Music School provides individualized music instruction across various instruments, including guitar, bass guitar, drums, piano/keyboard, and voice, catering to students of all ages and proficiency levels. Each lesson encompasses comprehensive guidance on instrument techniques, music theory, composition, ear training, and the ability to perform songs live on stage. Private lessons are scheduled once a week, occurring on the same day and at the same time.

Instruction is available at our facility located at 200 Commerce Circle, Suite A, Yorktown, VA 23693, or through online platforms such as FaceTime or Zoom.

Attendance & Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance, and rescheduling should occur with a minimum of 24 hours' notice. Lessons canceled by the instructor, or cancellations made with at least 48 hours' notice, are eligible for rescheduling. Same-day cancellations generally will not be rescheduled or refunded; however, each student is allocated up to four (4) "sick days" per calendar year, which allow a same-day cancellation to be converted into a makeup lesson credit equivalent to the cost of one session. Canceled sessions do not grant cash refunds.

Lesson Discontinuance Policy:

If you wish to discontinue lessons or take a temporary break, a one-month written notice (30 days) submitted to studio management is required prior to your next billing cycle. Verbal notice given to an individual instructor is not sufficient to discontinue billing.

Inclement Weather & Substitute Instructor Policy:

If lessons must be canceled due to inclement weather, then the missed lesson will be rescheduled for a different day of the month, or payment for that lesson will be credited towards your lessons the following month. The Revolution Rock Music School reserves the right to provide a qualified substitute instructor when a primary instructor is absent or unavailable. Lessons taught by a substitute instructor fulfill our scheduling obligation and do not qualify for refunds or credits outside our standard cancellation policy.

Lesson Rates, Billing, and Payment Policy:

There is a one-time registration fee of $35, which will be billed alongside your first lesson payment. Payments are due monthly and cover all scheduled lessons for that month. We offer 30-minute music lessons at a rate of $35 per session, totaling $140 for four weeks or $175 for five weeks. Alternatively, 60-minute music lessons are available at $70 per session, amounting to $280 for four weeks or $350 for five weeks.

Private lesson fees must be paid at the beginning of each month, prior to your first scheduled lesson. Payment options include email invoice, credit card, cash, or checks made out to "Nick Weber Music, LLC." Please note that a 3.5% service fee applies to all electronic payments. Payments for private lessons are required prior to, or at the time of the initial lesson for the first month. Thereafter, payments must be made at the beginning of each subsequent month, before the first lesson. If payment is not received within 14 days of the due date, a late fee of $20 will be imposed.

By enrolling in monthly tuition, Client authorizes Nick Weber Music, LLC d/b/a Revolution Rock Music School to charge the designated payment method on file monthly. Tuition automatically renews monthly until formal written notice is provided 30 days prior to the next billing cycle. In the event of facility closures beyond the studio's control, lessons may be held virtually via Zoom/FaceTime in lieu of refunds.

Client agrees to resolve any billing disputes directly with studio management prior to initiating a bank or credit card chargeback.

Termination of Services:

The Revolution Rock Music School retains the right to terminate you or your child's participation in lessons, rehearsals, or performances at any time without prior notification. Payments made for previous lessons or band tuition will not be refunded under any circumstances. Such a decision may occur due to any of the following reasons:

Persistent failure to make timely payments or to communicate delays in payment.

Repeated cancellations of lessons or rehearsals, or consistently arriving late.

In the event of a medical emergency, Parent/Guardian authorizes Revolution Rock Music School staff to obtain necessary emergency medical treatment or emergency transportation for the student if the Parent/Guardian cannot be immediately reached.
